Edna Louise Peavie-Sams

Edna was born on April 26, 1956 in San Bernardino, California. She was the eldest daughter of Herman R. Peavie and *Beverly J. Jordan (*who preceded her in death).
We are here today not to mourn her passing, but to celebrate her life! Edna lived the majority of her life in San Bernardino; except for three years she lived and worked in Pasadena, California. While living in Pasadena she was baptized at Neighborhood Church of God. She was an active member of Sunrise Church in Rialto, California. She worked for the County of San Bernardino, retiring from the Sheriff Department in 2011.
Edna was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, always there whenever needed by family and friends. She loved spending time with her family, especially all her many grandchildren. She had a bubbly personality and a "smile" that would light up a room; she loved to laugh and was known to say "laughter was good for the soul". She would always encourage you to see the good in others, to always do the best you could and always had a listening ear. She also loved her dogs, and would tell anyone "I love my husband", but most importantly of all she loved God.
