Eduardo “Edward” Lopez Ochoa, age 44, departed this life on January 9, 2023. Eduardo had been a memorable person since he was brought into this world on July 5, 1978. In his younger years, he attended Midland High School and was proud representative from the class of 1997. He spent his years making memories on and off the field that he would share with others later in life. He was a loving father who held a passion for hunting and fishing, an avid outdoors man. His love for adventure allowed him to live his life to the fullest. Eduardo was constantly on the go to new places. For those who had the chance to meet him, recognized Eduardo as the life of the party. He never failed to make rooms light up in his presence. He always cared for others around him, ready and willing to give the shirt off his back.
Eduardo’s memory is survived by his four children: Edward Devon Ochoa, Robert Dillon Ochoa, Victoria Ochoa, and Brook Lynn Ochoa as well as their mother Kellie Withrow; his siblings Joe DeLaO, John Stephen Martinez, Cynthia Garza, and brother/uncle Joel Ochoa; his parents Margie Martinez and stepfather Eugene Martinez. As well as countless other family and friends.
Eduardo joins those he loved including his best friend, Craig Noland; grandmothers Victoria Ochoa and Estefana Balterama; his grandfathers Valente Ochoa and Oscar Balterama; and his father Eduardo Dominguez Ochoa.

Edward, thank you for being the one of the best uncles ever! You always made sure that when we were in town you would make sure that you would see us after Mami passed. When I was little you always made sure that I was ok and when you had your kids, you made sure that we all came close just like you and my mom. You were a pain in the butt but in the best way! Not having you is hard but you are a legend, one that has taught us that even in hard times we can always have a good laugh and to always show that we do have that light that can brighten someone's day. Thank you and I will always have you on my mind and in my heart! I love you and I will see soon! Victoria, Devon, Dillon, and Brooke my condolences to you four but never forget that you guys are a part of your Dad and that together you guys can see him everyday through eyes still!
