Edward Acciavatti Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 21, 2025.
Edward Acciavatti, affectionately known as "Ted" by his beloved wife, passed away on August 19, 2025, in Portland, Maine, at the age of 76.

Born on November 28, 1949, in Quincy, Massachusetts, Ed is survived by his loving wife, Margo Acciavatti (Verlicco)

Ed was a proud father to three children: Nicole MacNeill and her husband Gary of Quincy, Massachusetts; Edward Acciavatti Jr. and his wife Jane of Gardner, Massachusetts; and Angela Preston and her husband Avery of Port St. Lucie, Florida. Ed was a devoted husband and father who also cherished his role as "Papa" to 6 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Ed was a leader and role model to many nieces and nephews who held him in high regard, he used his drive and passion to do everything to the best of his abilities.

A man of many talents and passions, Ed found joy in fishing and motorcycles-both riding them and repairing them. His hands were rarely still; whether working on carpentry projects or tuning up a bike, he approached each task with care and precision. Those who knew him recognized him as a true gentleman and a great friend-someone who could always be counted on for support or a helping hand.

Ed's legacy lives on not only through his family but also through the countless memories shared with those fortunate enough to know him. May his memory bring comfort to all who loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date in Port St Lucie, Florida, where he resided since 1991.
