Edward Eugene BuckleyEdward Eugene Buckley, Sr., 71, of Soso, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at South Central Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at Edon Baptist Church in Stringer, with burial in the church cemetery. He was retired from the timber business. He was a member of Edon Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Buckley; and a brother, Travis Buckley. He is survived by his wife, Irma Buckley of 52 years; two sons, Edward Eugene Buckley, Jr. of Bay Springs and James Arnold Buckley of Stringer; two daughters, Cathy Melinda Mosley of Searcy, Ar., Janice Denise Van Coppenhagen of Hattiesburg; one brother, Charles Buckley of Collins; one sister, Margret Daniels of Collins; and seven grandchildren: Joshua Cumberland, Clarke Joiner, Leah Buckley, Jameson Buckley, Bo Buckley, Eliza Buckley, Jarrett Buckley; and a step-grandchild, Abbey Mosley.
