It has taken me a long time to write about Lynn. He was the gentlest, kindest person I ever met and I fell in love with him immediately. His humour, his integrity and perseverance were truly something to behold and his love of Family and Friends was evident to anyone who knew him. His quiet demeanor and calm nature belied a quick wit and fierce intelligence; his love and loyalty to Family and Friends was fiercely unfailing, and his calm Grace was an inspiration. He has gone home and truly loved every ride in Life´s Carnival.

As a fellow substitute teacher with Lynn at Alamo Heights High School, I enjoyed many teachers´ lounge conversations with him. He has a sweet soul that lives on.

When you grow up in a small town and look back so many years ago some people come to mind quickly. Lynn was such a sweet guy always. Friendly and kind to all. God be with you all.

Aleta
We are sorry to hear about Lynn's passing but know he is home now. I have so many memories of being at ya'lls house in Benton. When ever we came home we always came to see you and go to Coushatta to catch up on everyone. You and Julie are in our prayers. Lynn use to come by Mom and Dad's when he was close enough to pass by in Bossier (Aunt Betty and Uncle Mac) Please take care Rhonda

What a wonderful testimony to Lynn's unique life. I only saw Lynn a couple of times after our graduation from Benton High School. The last time was at my brother's memorial service in Houston in 2006. Lynn was just as friendly and 'chummy' as always, as though no time had elapsed. And when I spoke to him by phone a couple of weeks ago, I had the same impression. He was a great example of living a full life and fulfilling life. I miss knowing that he's now gone to a different place...

It´s very tough to be writing this. How do you tell in a few words a lifetime of a dear friend and memories. Lifelong friend, classmate and friend to the end. My pastor always said you write your own obituary by the way you live. Lynn sure wrote a good one!
Til we see each other again.

Only treasured fond memories of Lynn. We were in band together in High School and at Tech. Always upbeat and a friend to all.
