Edward A. Chmielewski

Chmielewski, Edward A., age 90, formerly of Chicago and a Florida resident for 38 years, passed away August 24, 2005. He is survived by his son William (Clarissa) of Jordan, Arkansas; daughter Marie Sigler (David) of Coral Springs, Florida; sister Lillian Morgan, Park Ridge, Illinois; sister-in-law Ann Roshko, Chicago, Illinois; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Chmielewski was a successful businessman who together with his wife and family, owned and operated Harold's Fried Chicken on Broward Blvd., after moving to Ft. Lauderdale in 1967. He was a resident of Tamarac Mainlands, Section 6, for more than thirty years and was an active member of their homeowner's association, serving on several committees and as president. He was preceded in death by his wife Marie, of forty five years. He was an avid traveler, reader, and a lover of "family get togethers". Ed will be remembered for his expertise as a chef, cooking and baking for family and friends and various functions. A wake will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm with a memorial service following, at AAA Baird-Case Memorial and Funeral Home, Tamarac, FL, (954) 486-3896, Mon., August 29, 2005.
