Edward E. "Cookie" Cook, passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 84. Ed was born on January 28, 1941, in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. He live most of his life in Maine, NY until he retired and moved to Clearwater, FL in 2004 where he spent the past 21 years. He lived a life marked by dedication to his family, service to his country, and commitment to his trade.

Edward graduated from Honesdale High School in Pennsylvania. Later, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served for 4 years. From 1963 to 1967, he served honorably as an Interior Communications Electrician on multiple naval ships. His time in the Navy reflected his strong sense of duty and technical skill-qualities that would continue to define his professional life.

In 1967, Edward became a proud member of IBEW Local 325 Electricians Union. Over the course of a long and respected career, he contributed significantly to the electrical trade until his retirement in 2003. His work ethic and craftsmanship left a lasting impression on those who worked alongside him.

Edward is survived by his wife, Brenda Cook; his children Lisa Toton, Steven (Amy) Cook, and David Cook; and his brothers John Raught and Lisle Raught. He was a beloved grandfather to Michael (Danielle) Yurko, Jessika (Vincent) Candileri, Nicole (Joey) Toton, Jake Toton, Kaytee (Gino) Cook, Dillan Cook, Dominic Wilkinson, and Kyle Cook. His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren: Grace, Kaleb, Brynlie, Colton, Jaxson, Kinsley, and Wyatt whom he greatly cherished visits from.

He was predeceased by his parents, his brother James Cook, and his dear friend and Clearwater fishing buddy, Tim Rosencrates.

May Edward's memory bring comfort to all who knew him and serve as a reminder of a life well lived through service, hard work, and love for his family. His life will be celebrated by close friends and family for years to come.
