Edward A DeYoung Edward A DeYoung, 64 of Springville passed away Sunday, December 26, 2004. He was born April 3, 1940 in Peoria, Illinois to Cornelious DeYoung and Laura Pankey DeYoung. He married Mellie Stearnes in Peoria, Illinois on March 17, 1962. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Washington Temple. Edward is survived by his wife of Springville; one son, Henry DeYoung of Payson; one daughter, Gwen Castelton of Springville; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Anabell Facker, Margaret Bailey, Emma Seibenthal, Neil DeYoung and a stepsister Barbara Oswald. He was preceded in death by one son, Edward J DeYoung; three sisters, three brothers, one stepbrother and one stepsister. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 31, 2004 at 2 p.m. in the Hobble Creek West Stake Center at 555 South 600 East in Springville where there will be a viewing from 12:45 to 1:45. Burial will be in the Springville City Cemetery under the direction of Wheeler Mortuary. Condolences may be sent to www.wheelermortuary.com
