Ed, we had some good times during our school days at Granger High School as well as sitting on the front fenders of Raymond Hajda's '34 Chevy/or Ford shooting rabbits at night up and down the road to Laneport and back. May you have joy in Heaven with our former classmates who also said good-bye to us in past years.

Ed was truly a great man. He and my Uncle Norman were friends, so over the years I was blessed to know him and Corrine. Both were always so sweet to visit with me any time we ran into each other. He will be dearly missed

My favorite story from Ed: He and his wife were touring in Czechoslovakia during the time the TV series "Dallas" was so famous world wide. No European would know this tall American cowboy (wearing a 10 gallon cowboy hat) would know the Czech language... He overheard some Czech citizens talking in the Czech language. These folks were wondering "Who shot J.R.?" Ed blurted out in the Czech language: "I SHOT J.R.!!!!
Ed was a generous man and would help you in any way he could. I am glad I got to see him in the Bartlett rest home when I visited another good Granger "boy" about 3 weeks ago. Joe Blackmon

Our most sincere condolences to Corrine and family at the passing of "Big Ed". We farmed with Big Ed, Lil Ed, John & Karen, and made some of the best memories. Big Ed was a bit quiet, but jovial at the same time. Fun to 'pick on', took it like a champ, and picked right back. He enjoyed Henry playing the accordion at our evening gatherings at John & Karen's house. Such fond memories. You are in our thoughts & prayers during this very difficult time.
May he rest in peace, until we meet again.
Love & hugs,

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Dykowski family during this difficult time. Over the years, you all have been great neighbors and friends to my dad and mom. I always enjoyed witnessing good friends, conversations and welcoming waves as I was growing up with my dad and mom there in Granger.

There is no way we can thank you Ed for taking care of Mom when Dad died. The many talks and visits we had when we were taking card of Mom's house, we thoroughly enjoyed. Your presence was a God send. I wish Anne and I were in better health so we could attend the funeral. We will pray for you.
