Ed was my very best friend in flight school (ORWAC 71-42). Smart, confident and accomplished, Ed was admired by subordinates, contemporaries and superiors alike. Assignments, geography, families and life got in the way and over the years we lost touch. I am saddened to learn of his passing and regret that we were unable to maintain contact over the years. I have many fond memories of him and his wife, Joan. I miss them. Rest in peace, my friend.
