When I think of Ed I am reminded of his talents on the court playing for the Sparta High School Basketball program; not to forget his many other athletic achievements for Sparta teams.

My sincere condolences to all of Ed's family. You never forget the members of your freshmen platoon at Norwich. I remember spending a night at Ed's house double dating with he and Barbara. Ed was the best. God speed.

Ed....You and Barb were a best part of my years at Norwich! I regret our loss of contact over the years, but thoughts of you and family were always present. I am a better man today having spent time with you and your lovely wife. You have left our Nation a better place by your time here. May your family find strength in this time of bereavement.
