Sorry for you loss. He had been a friend and co-worker with my father and my mother so I had known him from childhood to adulthood. He will be missed greatly. My prays are with you and your family in your time of grievance.

Had the pleasure of bumping into Eddie a few yrs ago... As I walked from my car to the store...this man said "Didnt you live on Rindge Rd ?" I asked how he remembered and his reply was he "always remembered the quiet kids"...Many years have gone by since I rode the bus to school.... Eddie just made it a fun trip to school.... From Rindge Rd to Fisher to New West Townsend Rd... How he did it... Most of the time it was standing room only...Will never forget this man as he rarely raised his voice and would sing... Eddie Spaghetti may you be safe in Gods arms... You will be missed by many ! Our deepest sympathy to his family...

When I was kid growing up on Rindge Road, Ed was our favorite bus driver. While the road was under construction, he'd drive fast over the bumps and we'd fly in the air. We'd sing Eddie Spaghetti at the top of our lungs. He was a very special part of my childhood. Ed Gokey was a kind, fun and great guy. I'm so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts.
