From Charleston High through the Medical College to Genealogy and Family Papers my life paralleled Edward's. I was an officer when he was President at CHS and we travelled around the Lowcountry to meetings. I graduated in Nursing in 1961 and was still working in the MUSC and close to many of his classmates. A few years ago I saw on Amazon a book by him, ordered it and ultimately called him. Charlestonians, said to honor our Ancestors, Edward and I each had discovered historical family papers and were or had written about the information contained on our Families. Edward and I new each other but were never good friends. His obituary touched me, though. Even as a teenager he was a Good Guy. I wanted you, his family, to know that the thread of our lives is wound, that I am proud to have known him. His Professional History is impressive. Sinncere sympathy on your loss.

Sorry to hear of the passing of my friend Dr. Edward Good . I want to tell you how much I enjoyed his friendship in medical school and occasionally in Houston and Charleston. He was an upstanding person and physician. I enjoyed being his classmate in medical school. I know you will miss him terribly. Best wishes in this sad time. Sincerely yours, Bonner Thomason, classmate and friend

The Good Family was the first family I got to know upon my move to Texas almost 42 years ago. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences and prayers for the family. Rest In Eternal Peace, Dr. Good.

I will miss you Uncle Edward. All the conversations we had, all that I wish we could still have. I always enjoyed discussing books and family history and issues of the day with you. Thank you for being there for me after my father passed. You will be missed!!!
Much Love, your niece Caroline

Dr. Good was such a good man and friend to me while he was in Fort Worth. I will always cherish and remember going to Jason's Deli and "eating healthy" with Anne and he.
