Edward Hess Obituary
On Monday, November 10, 2008, Edward A. Beloved husband of Josephine B. (Koval) Hess; father of Barbara J. Hess, Edward G. (Joyce) Hess, Carl B. Hess and the late Joanne E. Prasnikar; grandfather of Trish Prasnikar, Ed Hess Jr., Rick Hess and Shelly Prasnikar. Friends welcome Thursday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL HOME, LTD., Broadway & Shiras Ave., (Beechview). Mass of Christian Burial Friday 11 a.m. in St. Pamphilus Church. Interment National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Mr. Hess served in WWII and was a Purple Heart Honoree, he also was a founding member of the VFW Post #5012 in Castle Shannon and a retired steelworker with U.S. Steel Homestead Works.

I know how you feel for your loss, and I am sorry for your sorrow at the loss of your father. But take it from someone who just went throught the same loss of a parent. It hurts and its lonely but as time passes your grief lessens the love your father felt for you and you for your father stays strong in your heart and gives you strength
