Kingston - Edward H. Honeycutt, Jr., passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward H. Honeycutt and Mildred Honeycutt Silvers, and son-in-law Dr. James Allen Crafton. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Phyllis Carlisle Honeycutt, and stepdaughters Kim Crafton of Nashville and Kelly Mays (Kent) of Knoxville. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Mary Helen Crafton (Matthew Daeley, fiancé) of Haddon Township, NJ, Dr. Chadd Mays (Jessica) of South Charleston, WV, Cody Mays (Hannah) of Knoxville and Elizabeth Crafton of Nashville, and great-grandchildren Callen, Camden, Bennett and Annelise Mays, and Baby Mays due February, 2024.

Mr. Honeycutt graduated from UT Knoxville with Bachelor of Science and Master's degrees in Chemical Engineering and was a proud member of the Pride of the Southland Band for six years. He retired after a long career with TVA in Knoxville.

A special thank you to the Graves family (Terri, Mike & Rachel) of Portland, TN, for the kindness shown in his recent care. Also, a special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. In lieu of flowers, please make a gift to the charity of your choice.
