Edward "Sam" Kanekoa, 65, of Wailea, Maui, E.S.K. Contracting general contractor, died in Wailea, Maui. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Lorraine; sons Dayton, Dale and Dane; brothers William and Reginald; sisters Queenie Lee, Rebecca Sialana and Moana Kaneshiro; half brothers Craig, Fuku, Darryl and Kelsey; half sister Lehua Kealoha-Pauole; and four grandchildren. Services: 8 p.m. Wednesday and noon Thursday at Ballard Family Mortuary. Call after 6 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday. Cremation to follow Wednesday service.
