Edward Lee Knox, age 41 of Portage and formerly of Lake Station passed away suddenly on February 12, 2023. He was born on March 1, 1981 in Galveston, Texas to the late Clarence Knox and Desiree Emerson. He graduated from Lake Station Edison High School in 2000. On February 28, 2007 he married Tiffany Teal in Crown Point. Eddie was currently employed as a Millwright with Applied Acoustics International in Chicago Heights. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to joke around. His family was the most important thing in his life and he will always be remembered for the love he had for his children.
He is survived by his wife, Tiffany Knox; his children, Lincoln, Addison, Gavin, Skylar, Hannah, Ethan and Alissa Knox; his loving aunt and uncle, Donna and John Gonzales; best friend, James Holman and many loving siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Knox and Desiree Emerson.
Visitation for Eddie will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage. Cremation will follow visitation. Eddie was a funny guy, loved to make jokes. He always talked about his family and was happy being a father. Eddie was always busy working, he loved construction work. My condolences to the family.

I can’t believe you are gone. I hope you watch over Tiffany and the kids. This is so sad and a huge loss for everyone. I’ll forever cherish the time we had together.
