Edward Kullaf

KULLAF Edward J., age 89, of Holiday City, Berkeley Twsp., NJ died Monday, May 16, 2011 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He was a World War II Navy Air Corps Veteran from 1940 to 1945. Edward worked for Manhattan Rubber for 22 years and CBS Book Division for 22 years, retiring in 1978. He was predeceased by his parents William and Julia Kullaf, his brothers William and Emil and his sister Helen Salko. He was a member of the VFW Post 10185, Berkeley Twsp., the Holiday City Berkeley Golf Club, Fishing Club, the Melodiers, the Variety Club and the Holiday City Berkeley Recreation. He thoroughly enjoyed his family and friends and will be sorely missed. Surviving are his wife of 68 years Edith (nee Albrecht), his son Edward Kullaf Jr. of Secaucus, NJ; a granddaughter Kimberly Kullaf of Conn, and a great-granddaughter Paige. The family will receive friends Friday 2-5 PM and Saturday 9 AM until the funeral service at 10 AM at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.
