Edward Lazarian Obituary

WEST DENNIS —

Edward Lazarian, 84, of West Dennis, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at the Pleasant Bay Nursing and Retirement Center in Brewster.

He was the son of the late Onnig and Elizabeth (Mirakian) Lazarian.

Mr. Lazarian was born in Boston, and raised and educated in Philadelphia, Pa. He was a graduate of Overbrook High School in Philadelphia.

A veteran of World War II and the Korean War, Mr. Lazarian served in Navy. He was honorably discharged with the rank of storekeeper first class in 1951. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.

Mr. Lazarian was employed for 20 years as a photoengraver with Dennison Manufacturing in Framingham. He moved to West Dennis in 1997.

He is survived by two daughters, Janis I. Lazarian of Waterville, Maine, and Lane P. Blomgren of Fairhaven; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Lazarian; and a sister, Rouzan Nouskhajian.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. The funeral procession to the cemetery will form at 11:45 a.m. at the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth.
