If there was ever a gentle giant it had to be Eddie. I spoke with him shortly before his passing and he was joking around as usual. He wouldn't take payments from me on supplying me with wood. He would tell me to just keep track of what I owed him and sooner or later he would come in and pick out something here at Eatons. I will miss Eddie and was fortunate to have him as a friend.
