LISK, DR. EDWARD B., 64 - of Galloway, died January 7, 2009, at home after a lengthy illness battling ALS. He was a graduate of King's College and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Further medical training was obtained at ACMC. Ed was later drafted during the Vietnam War and served as a captain in the Army Medical Corp. He practiced general medicine at the Brigantine Medical Group for thirty years. Ed is survived by his one and only true love, Patty. Sons Eddie and Mike who reside at home, daughters Shell and Neen. Grandchildren Nicole, Ashley, Francesco, and Gabriella, and a Step-brother, Dan Varley. Special thanks to the caretakers Eli, Manny, Kim, Dennis, Nate, Eunice and Griswold Special Care Services. Services will be held at Parsels Funeral Home Absecon, NJ on Saturday January 10th at 12 noon. Family and friends are invited for the viewing from 10 to 12. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Atlantic Care Hospice 609-272-2424 or the Greater Philadelphia ALS Association 877-434-7441

Dr. Lisk was our doctor for 30 years. He was a very good doctor. He cared about his patients and listened to them. He had a great sense of humor and was very kind. His family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I was saddened to read of Dr. Lisk's passing. He cared for my husband and myself when we moved to Brigantine. We loved his friendly, caring bedside manner when my husband was in the hospital and his great sense of humor. My heart goes out to you. I will keep you in my prayers.

Dr. Lisk was my doctor when I used BMG. He was a very compassionate doctor and always listened to what I had to say. He helped me through some of my toughest times. He was one the best out there. He will be sadly missed by all.

Dr. Lisk was my doctor for years. He was and is irreplaceble. He was such a kind & caring man. He would always try to bring a smile to your face even when you were sick, he would make you laugh.
