MUGGAR EDWARD
94, of Sturgeon, South Fayette Twp., died Wednesday, August 14, 2013, in Ohio Valley Hospital. He was born January 19, 1919, in Sturgeon, a son of the late Constant and Eva Muggar. Mr. Muggar was a coal miner with North Star Coal Co. and was a member of St. Patrick R.C. Church. He enjoyed woodworking (especially making birdhouses), raising and racing homing pigeons. Surviving are his wife of 14 years, Edith (Vettorel) Muggar; children, Janet (Kenneth) Oelschlager of McMurray and Edward (Jan) Muggar of S. Fayette Twp.; grandchildren, Keven Oelschlager, Tracy Stieglitz, and Paula Archinaco; great-grandchildren, Kamron and Ashley Oelschlager, Alyssa and Corey Stieglitz; brother and sister, Victor (Ruth) Muggar of Cecil, Della Pierce of Carnegie; nephew, Steve Bertolino and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Orelia Muggar (1989); three sisters; and one brother. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the THOMAS-LITTLE FUNERAL SERVICE, INC., 5000 Noblestown Road, Oakdale (724-693-2800). A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 12 noon at St. Patrick R.C. Church, 7322 Noblestown Road, Oakdale. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Please sign the guestbook at:
