Dear Pape Family, I am just hearing of EJ´s passing and I am so very sorry. I was one of the neighborhood kids on Catalina Street and he was a few years older than us but so kind and friendly, he taught me my baseball batting stance and gave me a Steve Sax cracked bat. We all looked up to and admired EJ.

Sending love to the Pape family. He will always be with you.

Uncle Eddie, Aunt Leu, Shelly and EJ's wife and children... I just heard today the tragic news and my heart and prayers go out to you all! I would like to think he's playing ball with Ty Cobb, Mickey Mantle, Babe Ruth at the big stadium in the sky. I hope your loving memories give you comfort during this difficult time. Love,

Dear Ed & Leuonna, My wife and I didn't get to know E.J. as well as some. But you could see the love and admiration the Pape family held for each other. I'm sure E.J. knew how very proud you were of him. Our love and prayers go out to you and your family.

E.J. Will always hold a special place in our hearts and when we talk Burbank legion Baseball. We remember how he played and always tried to be his idol Brian Downing #5 of the Angels, those were some great times and wish we could go back. We are so sorry for the loss of E.J. God Bless to a wonderful man, gone too soon. As Trojans say Fight On! You will be missed. All of the Isaacson's have the entire Pape Family in our prayers. God Bless!
