Edward Joseph "Ed" Paszko

Edward Joseph "Ed" Paszko passed away peacefully, on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at the age of 86.

Edward was born and raised in McKean, on November 2, 1934. He is the son of the late Joszef Paszko and Nellie Benecki Paszko-Tecza.

Edward worked as a machine operator at Nosco Plastics and Accu-form. Then after retirement, he worked at the Glenwood YMCA. Although for most of his life, his true enjoyment was farming. He loved spending time with his family, making his "special wine" for everyone to try just a sip, and watching the Steelers games.

Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Paszko, June 30, 2004; stepfather, Stanley Tecza, mother, Nellie Benecki Paszko-Tecza, sisters; Theresa Mitchell, Maggie Hushon, and Pauline Draszkiewicz and brother; Stanley Paszko.

Survivors include daughter, Shelley Hecker and husband Doug; granddaughters, Brittany Curry (Kyle Hardik), Alexis Curry; Brothers, Theodore Tecza and wife Judy, Walter Tecza and wife Patty, Vincent Tecza and wife Debi, John Tecza and wife Robin, Joseph Tecza and wife Bonnie; sisters, Rose Donahue and husband Herbert, Helen Fik, Mary Buren and husband Denny; special niece Cindy Jackson (Bill) and children: Christie, Matthew and Eric, along with several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call at St. Francis Parish, 8880 Main St., McKean, PA 16426; on Friday, July 16, 2021, from 9 a.m. to the time of the memorial funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. The burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Directly to the McKean Hose Company Fire Dept.: P.O. Box 241, McKean, PA 16426, or designated to the family at 8700 Bargain Rd., McKean, PA 16426, who will be donating to causes in the area to help needy families in Edward's name.
