I had the privilege of interacting with Ed and often observed his passion and commitment to his grand kids. I remember him as a man who loved playng with the children and showed great interest in their sports. I know his love, care and assistance in grand-parenting will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to the family. I recall that my first hamburger in CT was from Ed. That i will always remember.

I was so very sorry to hear of Ed's passing and I will be keeping his loved ones in my prayers. I remember Ed as a kind, generous and knowledgeable colleague from the earliest days of my career at CIGNA. He was a true role model of professionalism for me. May his memory be a blessing always.

To family and friends I´m sending my thoughts and prayers. I worked with Ed for many years at Cigna. Without him, I used to tell him,I´d never get through the day. His advice and expertise was invaluable. Once he retired I knew it was my turn. I just quoted him last week to my own children. He said "they don´t call it work because it´s easy". I will keep his memory in my heart as we all mourn his loss.

Ed was a wonderful colleague at Cigna, a great human being, and a supportive and fair manager of me and others. Multi-talented, wise, warm, thoroughly honest, thoughtful and witty when he wanted to be. My sincerest condolences to his family.

My deep condolences to Ed´s family and friends. I had the privilege of working with Ed for most of my Cigna career of over 40 years. His legal expertise and creativity helped shape many policies that our Healthcare product and contract areas implemented. Even as he rose to the highest ranks in the Legal department, he always had an open door and a smiling face to greet me when I went to see him. He retired shortly after I did, and I was so happy for him -as at one point he said he thought he might work forever. As we sadly know, nothing is forever. Even though I haven´t seen Ed in years, I feel a loss for myself and the world who will miss him greatly. Rest in peace Ed. Bruce Dworman
