Edward H. Thielbar, Jr.

1942 - 2017

Edward H. Thielbar, Jr., 74, passed away Jan. 2, 2017. He was born Nov. 24, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Edward Thielbar and Helen (Howerter) Thielbar and was raised in Walworth, Wis. He attended Walworth schools through the 12th grade, from there he went to Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., graduating with a B.S. Degree in Accounting.

After college, Ed began employment for an accounting and professional management firm, PPG, specializing in medical and dental practices. After 44 years, Ed retired and moved to Hot Springs Village, Ark.

In 1965, Ed married JoAnne Behrens. Together they had three children, Scott Thielbar (Ryan Casey), Jeff Thielbar, and Tanya (Eric) Peterson. Tanya has two boys, Colin and Evan. Jeff has one daughter, Hailee. Sisters; Bonnie Christenson and Dorothy Hibbard. Ed was preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-laws; Jim Christenson and Neil Hibbard.

Ed loved outdoor activities including golf, hunting, fishing, and horses. JoAnne and Ed did a lot of camping, trail riding and driving competitions.

A memorial service is planned at the Christ of the Hills Methodist Church, Hot Springs Village, AR on Jan. 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. with Rev. John Atherton and Rev. Patti Butler officiating.

So sorry to hear of Eds passing. We all shared a lot of good memories. We are in south Texas right now. We talked about stopping in to see you. Cliff and I still talk about all the great times together we shared. Our love to you Joanne and your family. Cliff and Rosemary.
