Edward A. Walsh III "Ed" passed away unexpectedly in Marco Island, Florida on August 31, 2018 at the age of 59, surrounded by family.

Predeceased by his loving parents Edward and Jacqueline Walsh Jr. and sister-in-law Stephanie Walsh.

Survived by wife, Deborah (Mehrman) Walsh "Debbie", and four children, Sarah Pokarney (Kim), Edward Walsh IV, Sean Walsh and Molly-Kate Hennings (Kevin). One granddaughter, Reagan Pokarney. He is also survived by four siblings brother Paul Walsh (Faith), sister Rita Cronis (Steven), brother William Walsh and brother Kevin Walsh (Dawn).

Edward was born on October 29, 1958 in Qunicy, MA. and resided in Weymouth, MA. Ed met Debbie in 1976 over CB radio using the handle Blue Sky and Debbie was Calypso. They were married on October 20,1979 and honeymooned to Marco Island. Ed told Debbie it would be his dream to live on Marco one day.

Ed and Debbie moved to Marco Island in 1990 with their four children. Ed began his career at Condee Cooling and Electric as a Master Electrician where he worked for 25 years. Ed was a generous and dedicated individual who loved his community and was extremely passionate about Marco Island. He was the most selfless man who would give you the shirt off his back. Ed was an active and dedicated parishioner of San Marco Catholic Church, he was also a founding member of the Marco Island Charter Middle School, he served on the board of directors for a multitude of organizations on the island.

Ed's firm belief in God supported him in his struggles and ultimately gave him peace.

Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at San Marco Catholic Church located at 851 San Marco Rd. Marco Island, FL 34145 at 10:00 a.m.
