Mister Willett, you were the one teacher who although compete opposite of me in most aspects of life gave me hope. You cared when others did not. You supported an open mind and truly respected alternative opinions. Your life lessons I will never forget and your kindness to me when I was a vulnerable and insecure teen was so needed. I just wish I could have told you I made it. Married to my best friend and most beautiful woman in the world. Have four happy and healthy children and traveled the world. I am one of your success stories! I love you sir and will always miss you. Semper Fidelis

Oh my dear friend Edward,
I have been searching for you for so may years as we had lost touch. Today something made me Google your name and there I read your obituary.
We had so many years together as friends,
way pass St. Michaels and even passed college.
I will always treasure our friendship. You were a true gift in my life.
Your beautiful soul has left a trail of beautiful memories.
May you rest in peace my dear and loving friend.

Ed was my teacher first and then became a dear and lifelong friend. He was a brilliant teacher, a kind man and a truly generous soul. He loved teaching, and he approached all of his students with the same respect, compassion and understanding. He also had a great laugh. Ed was the kind of teacher that changes the lives of countless students over the years. I am very fortunate to have been one of them.

I was so fortunate to have Mr. Willett as a teacher at LFHS. He was funny and very engaging. He's the reason I became a high school English teacher.

What a caring and impactful life! By happenstance, we ran into each other in the grocery store years after he was my teacher and it was a delightful surprise because of the connection first he made with me as a student! Lots of love to his family and all who knew him.
