Edwin Borison

Borison, Edwin, B. passed away on January 8, 2013 at his home in Del Rey Beach. He was formerly of New York, NY. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Joan Borison, his son Mark, his daughter Marcy (husband Brian), his son Scott (wife Janet), his son Craig (wife Susan), his daughter Stacey (husband Mark) and 14 grandchildren. He was born in New York on June 21, 1931 to Isadore and Bessie Borison. He graduated from USMMA at Kings Point in 1953 and then served as an officer in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He graduated from Harvard Law School in 1959. He wanted to be remembered as a teacher and he achieved his goal by leaving a lasting legacy of honesty, moral integrity, fairness and compassion, which shall continue to serve as an example for his children and grandchildren. All that knew him will remember his kindness, generosity, patience, bravery and quick wit. His Alma Mater Kings Point's motto was "Acta Non Verba" to which he remained true through his positive actions for others and not merely by his words. He enjoyed traveling, reading, horseback riding but he will be remembered most for his devotion and love for his family.
