My deepest sympathies to your family. I was in Mr. Proulx's American Government class at Franklin High School in the 50's. I have never forgotten him nor his sense of humor through the years. May God be with you and your family each and every day.

I'll always be grateful to Mr. Proulx for teaching me racquetball. He made such a positive impression and it's those small things that made such a huge impact in my life. Be with God!

Dear Margie,
Bud was always known as "Buddy" in our family. As I was growning up, he was my sports hero. My dad, the other Bud, took me to see Buddy play at UOP 1949-50 and I bragged about him ever since.
The picture in the obit is how my mind always pictures him,at our Easter family get to-gethers. He was always so special to hang around and listen to. I will always remember how he told about getting into the PR profession and then returning to education. An interesting story!!

Our thoughts are with you in your sorrow. Dave and Dee

I'm sorry that Mr. Proulx has passed. He was a fine educator and coach. Imagine he, along with George Brumm and Ernie Marcopulos at Franklin High during the 50's. What a coaching staff! They developed a lot of talent. Unfortunately, opportunities were not as good then, as they are today. I know Mr. Proulx will be missed by many people.

Marge,
Please accept my sincerest condolences. Bud was a wonderful person and a great coach. I will always remember playing for him at Delta, and later playing doubles against him. He was always a gentleman. When he called the ball out, I knew it was out. I know you did an amazing job of caring for him, and of that you should be proud.

Marg and the Proulx family:
I am so sorry to hear that Bud has passed away. He was a wonderful man. As he was to many in practically two generations of Stocktonians, Bud was a coach to me, a mentor, a friend and an associate over the years. He was a fair and even-tempered man who instilled many values in me while we both were at Delta and continued to show concern in my growth and progress and follow my career in sports journalism after I moved on. Bud was a man who truly had a postive impact on many in this community and that will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
