Eileen Rose Brossard

Eileen Rose (Loesch) Brossard, age 72, of Watkins died on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Hilltop Care Center in Watkins after a long battle with cancer. Eileen was born on October 31, 1940, in Eden Valley to Henry and Angeline (Olk) Loesch. She married Charles Dockendorf on September 24, 1959 in Watkins and they later divorced. She married Richard Brossard no June 5, 1961, in Webster, South Dakota. Richard died on February 15, 1994. Eileen and Charles were later reunited in 1995 and have been together ever since. Eileen worked at Animal Fair in Eden Valley, Manhattan Toys also in Eden Valley and at T.C's restaurant in Watkins. She enjoyed her numerous flower gardens, was an avid animal lover, loved her grandkids and trips to the casino. Survivors include her love, Charles Dockendorf of Watknis; son Scott Brossard of Watkins and daughter, Laura (Dennis) Majeski of Sartell; sisters and brother Ambrose (Gloria) Finneman of Minneapolis, Mary Weber of Watkins, Dorothy (Jerry) Brose of Annandale, Yvonne (Gene) Bublitz of Kimball, Connie (Dick) Serbus of Kimball, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; brothers, Robert Finneman, Richard Finneman, James Loesch; sisters, Esther Johnson, Fern Smith and Patricia Serbus. Special thanks to the staff at Coborns Cancer Center, staff of Hilltop Care Center and Hospice for care given to Eileen. The most special thanks and love to Charles "Chuck" Dockendorf for giving up everything to care for his sweetheart Eileen.
