Boonville- Eileen Dorothy (Krambuhl) Dellerba, 93, a longtime resident of Summit St., widow of Vito, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015, while surrounded by the loving care of her family at Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Boonville. A native and life resident of Boonville, Eileen was born on May 19, 1922, a daughter of Walter and Martha Karlen Krambuhl. She graduated from Boonville High School and was united in marriage with Vito Dellerba, on January 3, 1942, at St. Joseph's Church, Boonville. From 1963, until the mid-1970's Eileen and Vito owned and operated Dellerba Meat and Grocery Market on Main St. in Boonville. Mrs. Dellerba was also employed as a waitress at the Cozy Restaurant, Countryside Golf Course, Fulmers Drive Inn, all in Boonville, and manager of Burger Buster Restaurant, Boonville. Mr. Dellerba, a Veteran of the European Theater of WWII, and retired custodian at Adirondack School District, died on May 14, 2004. Eileen was a longtime active member of St. Joseph's Church, Boonville, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Daughters of Isabella and she taught religious education. She was a member of Harland J. Hennessey Post VFW Ladies Auxiliary and she enjoyed playing cards, golfing and bowling. She greatly loved her family; Eileen cherished her role as homemaker and spending time with her family. She is survived by one daughter and son in law, Linda and George Fallon; two sons and daughters in law, Joseph and Lori Dellerba, Rusty and Sharon Dellerba, all of Boonville. She was predeceased by a son, Thomas Dellerba, on March 31, 2008. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren and a daughter in law, Judy Dellerba, Boonville. She was predeceased by brothers, John Krambuhl, Robert Krambuhl and by a sister, Dorothy Kelley. Eileen's family extends a heartfelt note of thanks and appreciation especially to the A-Wing Staff and the entire staff and management of Sunset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Boonville, for the kind and loving care they extended to Eileen during her residence at the nursing facility. A prayer will be on Friday at 10:15 A.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church, Boonville, where Rev. Donald H. Karlen, a retired pastor of Christ Our Hope Catholic Parish, Boonville, and God Son of Eileen, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Boonville. Calling hours are Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Boonville Fire Department Ambulance Fund, PO Box 164, Boonville, or to Christ our Hope Catholic Community, 108 Charles St. Boonville, NY 13309.
