FOOTE, Eileen Deanna
Eileen began this world as Eileen Small on May 14, 1939. It is with sadness that we share the news that Eileen gently passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016 with her children at her side. Eileen married Geoff Goodwin in 1956, and together, they had five children. Her marriage later to Bill Foote in 1984 opened up a wonderful life with many great adventures.
Eileen "loved pretty" and was an accomplished home decorator and cook who enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Her grandchildren will forever remember and miss "Grandma Footeballs" baking. Eileen touched many people during her 77 years of life and will be remembered for her energy and zest, quick wit, and incredible sense of humour, passion for golf, and both the Edmonton Eskimos and Oilers. She also loved deeply her loyal dog and companion, Coco.
Having engaged in a brief battle with cancer, Eileen now rejoins her beloved son, Gerry, mother Mary, brother Bill, and late husband, Bill Foote, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are her loving children Dianne (Hart), Tom, Shelley (Greg), Christine (Ron), and daughter-in-law Jacqueline, grandchildren Clinton (Janel), McKenzie, Taylor-Anne, Brittney (Michael), Whitney, Cameron, and Brody, and great- grandchildren Chase, Madelyn, and Charlie.
The family invites you to unite and celebrate the life of Eileen Deanna Foote, on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Westlawn Funeral Home, 16310 Stony Plain Rd., Edmonton, AB. Interment will be private.

My Dear Sister Eileen:
Although because of the distance from my home in Georgia to your home in Edmonton we did not have enough time together in our later years. I will always remember all the laughs we had. Keep a warm place for me.

Eileen was a very dear friend. We met while on our jobs. (1972).She was most interesting with all her world travels. Both Eileen & Bill were very generous friends. I will miss her dearly and I know the family will as well. She had the most contagious laugh and great sense of humor. RIP my dear Eileen
