Eileen KELLINS Obituary
May 19th, 1930 ~ March 4th, 2013
Eileen will be lovingly remembered by her children: Rick (Bev), Elaine (Dan) Nickel, Doug (Elva); grandchildren: Kim (Sean) Duggan, Bill (Shauna), Paul, Nicole Kellins, Danny (Fiancé, Kelly) Nickel; great grandchildren: Ben & Sienna Kellins, Brock, Andrew & Nicholas Duggan; sisters: Berni Yausie, Lil Boschee, Louella (Lyonel) Duerr, Helen (George) Smith; sister-in-law, Pat Boechler; brother, Gary (Yvonne) Schatz; brother-in-law, Frank Kellins; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her husband Bill; parents, Margaret & John Schatz; in-laws, Ethel & Frank Kellins; brother, Arnie Schatz; brothers- in-law, Clayton Yausie, Ken Kellins; sisters-in- law: Irene (Bill) Chambers, Hazel (Jim) Hinde, Pat (Cecil) Smith, and Inez Choquette. Eileen was born in Allan, SK and moved to Saskatoon with her family in 1945. She worked as an office administrator at Century 21 for 20 years. Prior to that she worked at Odeon Theatres and Fairweather Style Shop, as well as a seamstress, specializing in designing & sewing wedding dresses. In her free time, Eileen loved reading, cross words & knitting; especially baby outfits, donating many to Interval House. This last Christmas she knitted colourful toques for her great- grandchildren. Eileen lived the last 8 months at Preston Park II and loved the new friends she made and old ones she renewed. Heartfelt thanks to the nurses, doctors & other staff at St. Paul's Hospital, 5th Floor Medicine & emergency, staff at Preston Park II, home care and MD Ambulance. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. Please join us in celebrating our Mom's life at the Saskatoon Funeral Home at 338 4th Ave. N on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Condolences may be emailed to
