Eileen Nuccio Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 20, 2025.
Eileen Jahrling Nuccio passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 72 in Venice, FL. Born on July 14, 1952, to Arthur and Margaret Jahrling, Eileen was a lifelong nurturer, dedicating herself to the roles of a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Eileen spent most of her childhood in Wurtsboro NY and graduated from Monticello High School in 1970. She found joy in simple pleasures, devoting much of her time to sewing, crocheting, and baking skills and traditions she lovingly passed down to her family.

Eileen was a pillar of warmth and generosity, always putting her family first. She was married to her devoted husband, Harry Nuccio, for 53 years. and together they raised their children. They moved constantly while Harry was in the Coast Guard and never complained. They settled in Arkansas for many years, near her parents. While there, Eileen was a foster mother to many children. The midwest winters got the best of them and they finally dropped anchor in Florida. Eileen's greatest delight came from her six grandchildren, who will miss her dearly.

She is survived by her spouse, Harry; daughters, Catherine Green and Elizabeth Owen; son, Christopher; six grandchildren; brothers, Richard, Johnny, Bobby, Michael, and Eddy; and sisters, Margaret, Marion, and Linda. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Margaret Jahrling, and her brother, Arthur.

Eileen was a faithful member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wurtsboro, NY during her younger years.

In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held. Eileen's legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on through the memories cherished by her loved ones.
