Cynthia Cheshier Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 8, 2018.
Cynthia Suzette "Suzie" Cheshier, age 59, of Conway, received her heavenly wings on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Suzie was preceded in death by her father, John E. Hale, her mother, Margaret A. Hale, and by her beloved dog, Ralphie.

She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Douglas Cheshier of Conway; two children, Shannon Matchett (Jimmy) of Cabot, John David McLawhorn (Pamela) of Searcy; six grandchildren, Marie McLawhorn, Tyler Matchett, Madelynn Matchett, Sean McLawhorn, Ryan Matchett and Elaina McLawhorn; one brother, John E. Hale, Jr. (Terri) of Mountain View and one sister, Annette Farrar of Little Rock. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives that are too numerous to mention along with a plethora of friends that she considered more than friends, they were family. Suzie also left to cherish her memory is her beloved Bella and Bayle.

Suzie was born on December 9, 1958, Fayetteville, Arkansas. She later moved to Conway where she spent all her free time with her Meemaw and Peepaw at their family store. Her family later moved to Sherwood where she met her lifelong friends, Sharon and Paulette. She graduated from Sylvan Hills High School in 1977. She was a court clerk for over a decade in Sherwood and Maumelle later becoming a bail bondsman. She was fearless!

She started dating Doug Cheshier Christmas of 2001. Little did she know he would take her on the adventure of her life and show her more love than she ever knew was possible.
Although Suzie enjoyed numerous hobbies, her favorite was shopping QVC, flea marketing with her husband, catching the latest movie with her friends, but most of all she loved to travel. Out of all the places she traveled, New York was her favorite.

Visitation will be Monday, March 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with services on Tuesday, March 13, at 10:00 a.m., both at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
