Elaine De Witt

Our beloved sister, Elaine De Witt passed on October 2, 2024. Elaine was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Colorado Springs Council for Black Catholics and the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites with the local group Teresian Carmel and Little Way Community of Colorado Springs. She was an avid doll collector and Barbie specialist, an all sports enthusiast, appreciated all genres of music with Elton John being her favorite. She had brief working stints at Fort Carson and Hewlett-Packard then eventually enjoyed a long tenure with 1st National Bank where she retired. She is survived by sisters Maureen (Toni) Norris, Beverly DeWitt, Cathy Haynes, Mary Byrd, and brothers John De Witt and Michael De Witt, numerous nieces, great and great-great nieces, nephews and great nephews, extended family and lots of friends. She is preceeded in death by our parents Raymond and Mary (Aurelia) De Witt and niece Nicole Hood. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Thursday, November 21st at 11:00am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3122 Poinsetta Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907.
