Loving mother and grandmother
Elaine passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, at home with her family. Born in Brooklyn on July 10, 1939, the first of five children, Elaine was a longtime resident of Staten Island before moving to Jackson, N.J. Prior to her retirement she worked over 30 years at Staten Island University Hospital.
Elaine joins in heaven her beloved husband, Joseph R. Imbriale. She is survived by her three devoted daughters and their husbands, Lisa Crupi, Debra Collyer, Denise Afanador; eight cherished grandchildren, and precious siblings, Carole Kirk, Michael Paquette, Adrienne Butler, and Robert Paquette.
Visitation is Friday, Dec.15, 2017, at Holmdel Funeral Home. Funeral Mass is Saturday, Dec. 16 at 9:45 a.m. at St. Clare Church, 110 Nelson Ave., S.I. Burial is in Resurrection Cemetery, S.I.

I worked with Elaine in the Medical Staff Services Department of SI University Hospital for 6 years. She was a joy to work beside every day. She always had a happy attitude towards life. I am sorry to hear of her passing and wish to send sincere condolences to her entire family.

So sorry for your loss. I knew your mother when I also worked at Staten Island University. She was one of the sweetest women I knew.
