Elaine Robinson

ROBINSON, Elaine (nee Fowler) It is with great love and a multitude of fond memories that family and friends must say goodbye to Elaine Robinson (nee Fowler) who was called home to God from her winter home of Yuma, AZ November 8, 2007 at the age of 76 years. Elaine was devoted to her family and will be sadly missed by her son and daughter-in-law Doug and Diane Stahler of Beaumont, AB, daughters Cheryl Heimsoth of Vancouver, BC and Barb Wolchansky of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren Tara Heimsoth, Chris Heimsoth (Katherine), Kelly Stahler, Sara Wolchansky and Joshua Wolchansky, along with great-grandson David Heimsoth. Elaine was predeceased by her oldest brother Dorland Fowler but leaves behind three brothers and sisters-in-law Eldon and Phyllis Fowler, Keith and Irene Fowler all of Edmonton, AB, Gary and Lesley Fowler of Calgary, AB along with nieces, nephews and friends. Elaine was born in Gravelbourg, SK; shortly afterwards her family moved to Waskatenau, AB in 1932 where she was raised in amongst a large family. She would often tell warm stories about being the only female with four brothers, her large family and living in rural Alberta. Elaine remained in Alberta, mainly in Edmonton, where she raised her children and worked in the travel industry. Elaine and her late husband (Les Robinson) spent many years travelling in the motor home going south for the winter. For the last years of her life, Elaine settled for half the year in Yuma, AZ where she blessed the lives of many people who will miss her dearly. Information on a memorial service to be held in Edmonton, will be passed along at a later date once arrangements have been finalized. The family requests that in lieu of flowers if you wish to honour Elaine, please do so by passing on a kind deed or message to someone who needs it and spend time with your family.
