Missed Dan... now your kind and gentle soul. Anne had you as a mentor in Art Therapy, and we volunteered for Free Arts for several years. Loved the Wildlife House and the Trancas home... you were always generous with your time and loved helping children... You were an inspiration... now to work on other things important to you in that next place.... blessings!

I first met Elda in Paris, when I was 11 and attended the Ecole Active Bilingue, where I bonded immediately with Eden. I was welcomed so often in the Unger home in Paris and then in Malibu. Elda was an incredibly elegant, sophisticated, clever woman with a beautiful smile and a zest for life, a wonderful hostess and a powerhouse in everything she did. A great loss. Sending love to all the family xx

The Elda I knew also had a smile. She was warm and welcoming and treated everyone as special. Will miss her.

Elda and Dan taught me what it means to be a graceful, loving couple. The attached photo of the two of them, which I shot at their Malibu home in 2000, captures a little of that, I think. Their example was a beacon to me and so many. Dan was my professional mentor, the man who inspired me to start my own business, a business that turns 20 years old next month. And Elda was the loving, effortless hostess who made everyone feel welcome, all the while wielding her positive influence behind the scenes with nary so much as her fingerprint on it. I miss them both, and I always will.
