Elden "Nub" Holbert Bell

Mr. Elden Holbert better known as "Nub" Bell, age 70, of North Wilkesboro, died Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Forsyth Select Specialty Hospital. He was born September 23, 1944 in Wilkes County to Estel Boyd and Prudie Ethel Triplett Bell. He was a member of Pentecostal Church of the Living God and formerly employed with Holly Farms as a truck driver. Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Lester, Bruce, Rex, Buddy, Bobby and Junior Bell; and sister, Annie Ruth Bell.

Surviving are his wife, Carol Bell of the home; two sons, Jeff Bell and wife Vicky of North Wilkesboro, David Bell of the home; three daughters, Sandra Shriner and husband James of Wilkesboro, Denise McLean and husband David of North Wilkesboro, Glenda Bell of the home; seven grandchildren, JoAnna Perry, Wilkesboro, B.J. Bell and Luke Bell both of Greensboro, Kayla McLean of Clemmons, Michael McLean and Jacob Bell both of North Wilkesboro, Jonah Caudill of Wilkesboro; brother, Tony Bell of Wilkesboro; two sisters, Evelyn Bell and Pauline Watts both of North Wilkesboro.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 o'clock Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Miller Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roy Wyatt and Rev. Fred Staley officiating. Burial will follow in Mountlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Service from 6:00 until 8:00 o'clock Friday night. Flowers will be accepted. Miller Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
