Eleanor R. Dembinski Eleanor R. Dembinski, 87, died suddenly at St. Mary’s Home East, February 21, 2006. She was born in Erie, February 20, 1919, daughter of the late Teles & Rose Szlogowski Dembinski. She lived in Erie all her life. Eleanor was a retired employee of the Hammermill Paper Co. where she worked all her adult life as a quality inspector in the finishing room. She was a lifetime member of St. Casimir Parish. She was a graduate of East High School. She was past President of the Diocesan Children of Mary Society, Past Grand Regent of the Catholic Daughters of the America’s and held other offices in the C.D. of A. Eleanor was a member of the St. Casimir Rosary Society and a member of the Cosmos Club of Hammermill. She was a ballroom dancer with the Aurther Murry Studios and participated in many dancing exhibitions and contests throughout the United States winning numerous awards and trophies for her dancing. She is survived by three sisters; Rosemary Jaskiewicz and her husband Arthur, Ruth Kinzig and her late husband George; Sister Pierre R. S. M., and her sister-in-law Norma Dembinski. She was preceded in death by three brothers; Robert and his wife, Kay Dembinski, Francis and his wife, Veronica Dembinski, and John Dembinski. Friends may call at the Mark G. Razanauskas Funeral Home, 701 East Avenue, Erie; Thursday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday morning at the St. Mary’s Home East Chapel from 10 a.m. until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev.
