Eleanor Hansen Obituary

Hansen Eleanor C. Hansen (nee Stiansen), age 85, a resident of 7500 York, Edina, died Oct. 4, 2003. Preceded in death in 1980 by her husband, Dr. Olaf Hansen. Eleanor was a registered nurse who cared for many, including Albert Einstein. She and Olaf were missionaries to China and Japan after WWII. For 25 years she was a nurse supervisor at Lyngblomston Retirement Center in St. Paul. Survived by daughter, Priscilla (Jim) Lynch of Saugatuck, MI; son, Gordon (Carol) Hansen of Arlington, VA; daughter, Christine (Steven) Scott of Glasgow, KY; seven grandsons; and one granddaughter. Memorial Service 2 PM Thursday Oct. 9, 2003 at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, 8400 France Ave. S., Bloomington. Private interment, Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Luther Seminary, St. Stephen's Lutheran Church or Fairview Hospice. Morris Nilsen Chapel 612-869-3226
