BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — Eleanor "EIIie" (Wyse) Lustig, 75, of Boynton Beach, Fla., formerly of Andover died on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009 after a brief illness at Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, Fla.
A native of Fall River, Mrs. Lustig was educated in Fall River, University of Massachusetts and Catherine Gibbs School.
Mrs, Lustig worked for 22 years as a special education teacher in Andover, retiring in 1992.
A resident of Andover for 38 years, she has been residing in Florida for the past 9 years.
Mrs. Lustig was well known participant at the Andover Library discussions groups for many years. A member of Temple Emanuel, she served on the education committee and was also a member of the Temple Sisterhood.
Mrs, Lustig is survived by her husband Alan M. Lustig; her children Jay and his wife Julie Lustig and Todd and his wife Joan Lustig; her six grandchildren Meredith, Dylan, Nicholas, Jeffrey, Robert and Benjamin Lustig, and her sister Miriam Rinsky.
ARRANGEMENTS: Services at Temple Emanuel, 7 Haggetts Pond Road, Andover on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 11 a.m. Interment at Temple Emanuel Cemetery Lawrence. Condolence calls may be made following services at the home of Maynard Freedman, Newton until 8 p.m. only. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Rabbi's Discretionary Fund c/o Temple Emanuel, 7 Haggetts Pond Road, Andover, MA. 01810 . Arrangements by Goldman Funeral Chapel, Malden.
