Eleanor Pilato Obituary

(Niagara Falls) - Eleanor M. Pilato, age 84, formerly of Tryon Dr., in Lewiston, died Thursday, April 30, 2009 in the Schoellkopf Health Care Center in Niagara Falls, NY, where she had been a resident the past two years. Mrs. Pilato was born August 12, 1924 in Albion, NY, the daughter of the late Martin and Valeria (Guzinski) Mikolajewski. Eleanor was a 1942 graduate of Albion High School and was married to John J. Pilato until his passing in 1998. They had moved to Lewiston in 1952 from Lake Placid, NY. Eleanor was a former member of St. Peter's RC Church in Lewiston. She is survived by a son, Stephen (Pamela) Pilato of Green Bay, WI and a step-grandson, Aaron Dangerfield. She was predeceased by three sisters, Theresa and Rose Mikolajewski and Gertrude Shepard. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth and Ridge Sts., Lewiston, on Monday from 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christina Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 5th at 10:00 AM in St. Peter's RC Church, 600 Center St., Lewiston, with the Rev. Sebastian C. Pierro officiating. Ellie as we called her was the most beautiful, loving person we have ever known - she will be in the hearts of the Lloyd family forever -- we are all so saddened by her loss - we will see her, John and Rose and their beautiful pets
