I had the pleasure of knowing Eleanor from 1968 as an Aunt, co-worker and most importantly a friend. I will miss her at our yearly get together with the Beach girls for Isobel's birthday and Joyce and Marilyn at Gad's Hill for our birthday celebrations.

To Judy and Family.
I know that you don`t know me well but I am Don`s grand-daughter. I thought so very much of your mother, she was a great women. She loved to play with my son Eric when she was at my mothers, and he loved her so. I will miss her terribly she was so good to my grandpa, I will never forget her. Love Patty

My thoughts are with you all at this difficult time. We thought alot of your mom. Her and my dad (Don) were so very close since they were together. Her love for everyone else in her time of need was breath taking, she was more worried how everyone else was going to manage without her than she was of herself. That is an angel. We will never forget her kind smile and the laughter we shared with her.

Eleanor and I have been friends since 1974 when I first
worked with her at Beach Industries. Judy, you will remember our trip to Las Vegas with your mother, my mother, you and I. Eleanor and I, in our younger years,
enjoyed the week long Smiths Falls Old Home Week at the Civitan Club in Smiths Falls quite a few years ago. We will miss Eleanor when Marilyn, Linda and I celebrate each other birthdays twice a year. She will also be sadly missed at Isobel's birthday gathering for Isobel's girls. I am in Florida and will be unable to attend the service but will be there in
spirit. Cheers to you, Eleanor.

Eleanor has been a very good friend since I went to work at Beach Industries in 1977. In the early 1980's Eleanor came and lived with me for several months. In 1982 Eleanor and I took a vacation together to the Barbados which she and I have many pictures. Joyce Taylor, Linda Saunders, Eleanor and myself always got together for dinner in Merrickville several times a year to get caught up with each others lives. I will miss Eleanor but I know she is in better hands with the Lord.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you. I never knew Eleanor very well but she seemed very pleasant. My dad (Don MacPherson) and Eleanor were together for 4 years and I could see the love they had for each other by the way they looked at each other. I send my condolences to her family and my dad.
