One of the most sincere friends I ever had. What a Christian Jewel she was, and it showed in everything she did. She will be missed, but welcomed once again with Harry in our heavenly home. Prayers to the family and friends she left behind. Eleanor, a true blessing.

Oh how we all will miss her until we meet again. I was lucky to be her friend...so generous, loving and wise.

I am saddened that another one of the earthly saints who helped to create the church family I love has gone to her eternal home. I am among the many who will miss her.

On the other hand, I am so thankful that she was active in her special forms of ministry for the vast majority of the 94+ years she lived on this earth. And I am deriving pleasure as I envision the countless reunions which are taking place in heaven with Harry and other family members and countless friends.

Every time I greet at Pines, I think of Harry's devotion to and effectiveness in doing that task. And every time I walk into the sanctuary and look at the stained glass windows, I think of Eleanor's artistic talents. So I give thanks that their spirit remains alive in my heart and for the countless ways they lovingly served others in need. Phil Wetz

Eleanor welcomed me to Parkway a little over a year ago. She became a dear and respected friend. I will miss her loving and gracious spirit. We had dinner together almost every night. She was a writer of poetry and prose and a talented artist. She was a blessing to my life.
