Eleanor Zaros of North Caldwell, N.J., passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on September 2, 2017 at the age of 87.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, N.J., on Tuesday, Sept. 5, from 4-8 PM. The funeral Mass will be held at Notre Dame Church, North Caldwell at 10 AM on Wednesday, Sept. 6. For information or to send condolences, visit www.ippolitofuneralhomes.com.
Mrs. Zaros was born in Newark, N.J. She lived in Belleville and Newark, N.J., prior to residing in North Caldwell for the past 48 years.
Eleanor was a loving homemaker who lived with complete devotion to her late husband William, her children and, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting/knitting and painting for her family.
Eleanor was the beloved wife of the late William Zaros; devoted mother to her children and their spouses, David and Patricia , William P. , Jr. and Donna, and Diane Forbes and Bob; dear sister of the late Angelo Masiero; She was cherished grandmother of David (Debbie), Kristen , Melissa (Anthony), Stephanie (Dave), William (Eleni), Robert (Jenna), Steven (Rachel), Jenilyn (Michael), Michael and Matthew; great-grandmother of Emily, Abigail, Grace, Charlotte, Sophia, Ella, Mark, Anthony, Patrick, Andrew, Alexandra, Gianna, Zoe, Johnny and Joseph. She is survived by her sisters-in-law of Gloria Masiero and Marion Zaros.
