As an outsider, It was an honour to be accepted by Boomer into his company. As the token "Brit" in the party the joke was inevitably in my direction, never maliciously, always great fun. I will miss those days.

Connie and Family, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I was only fortunate enough to work with Ray for 5 years, at Willis, but he brought much joy in those short years!! His attitude and GREAT Spirit was infectious, I feel blessed to have known him.

Connie, my heart goes out to you and your family. I had the pleasure of working with Ray for 17 years and if I ever needed an answer to a question or only a laugh, all I had to do was to visit Ray for a few short moments. My most memorable moments of Ray of course come from the golf course. What a great friend.

The Frog, Ray, and Dow can not express in words the loss felt for you all. We will miss all Raymond had to offer, most of all his great sense of humor and love for his family. His memory will live through the people he has touched. The flee being one of them. Love always L.I. Veits

One day we are cruising down Ocean Parkway coming back from the Jones Beach softball games and Ray is driving my parents 57 Chevy and life is fun. Then, boom, he is gone and we wonder where did all the years go. We will miss you and your big joyful laughter.
Love,
Dow, Pat, Howie, Kip, and Kimberly

I had the honor of underwriting for Boomer for almost 20 years and can think of few who are as loyal, professional or such a pleasure to work with. He made this business fun. Ray was a good friend and he set a great example for much of our industry to follow. He will be missed and never forgotten.
