Elena Pacheco Obituary
Elena E. Pacheco
passed a way at the age of 80.
She is predeceased by her parents, Jose Gomez and Marta M. Gomez, Herman Pacheco Sr, Michael Angel Rios, siblings, Anita Vuncannon, Petra Gomez-Green, Josie Salazar, and Jose M. Gomez. Surviving siblings: Alfonso Gomez (Virginia), Roy G. Gomez, and Esther Gomez-Tristan. Elena "Helen" is lovingly remembered by her three children, Herman Pacheco Jr (Teresa May), Miryam "Milly" Pacheco-Gregory and Michael A. Pacheco (Angie Renee). Grandchildren: Bridell Miers (John Lee), Dariel Pacheco (Baldemar Perez), Cordell Pacheco, Jyrell Pacheco, Jacob Carlos Gomez-Gregory, and Patricia Hope Pacheco Great- grandchildren: Cashius, Evander, Lennyx, and Mircer Perez. Elena's Uncles, Paul Medina, Alfonso Medina(Theresa), and Trinidad Medina. Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews from across the USA.
Elena was born in Laredo, TX 8/24/37, attended Lanier HS and earned Cosmetology License at Johnson Beauty Salon in 1965.
She worked at Johnson Beauty Salon, Empire Beauty Salon, and from home. She was offered to train in New York hair styling studio (later to be known as Paul Mitchell), but declined in order to raise her family in San Antonio.
Elena enjoyed fishing, berry picking in Alaska, and making Tamales for Christmas.
She spent time traveling to over 44 states, special trips to Puerto Rico, NYC, Cancun and Cozumel.
Mom loved the beach!
Elena attended La Estrellita Senior Center then District 5 Senior Ctr where she joined Urban 15 Senior Rhythm Royale. Mom was an artist in craft making and painting on Canvas. She was Spurs and Dallas Cowboys fan for life.
Visitation will be at San Antonio Mortuary, 703 Palo Alto Rd. San Antonio, TX 78211 on November 3, 2017.
Family Visitation 2:30 p.m. Open visitation from
4:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Memorial service
7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
